Ramadan Virtues
Ramadan is the most blessed month in Islam, a time of mercy, forgiveness, and spiritual elevation. It is the month in which the Qur’an was revealed as guidance for humanity (Qur’an 2:185). Fasting in Ramadan purifies the soul, builds self-discipline, and increases taqwa (God-consciousness). The gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and devils are chained. Sincere fasting leads to forgiveness of past sins, as promised by the Prophet ﷺ. Ramadan multiplies rewards for every good deed, encourages charity and compassion, and provides a unique opportunity to strengthen one’s relationship with Allah and transform one’s character. 🌙
